Directors

Brian Lund, Director of Music

Mr. Lund is a graduate of San Pasqual High School, where he participated in Marching Band, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Ensemble for four years. He served as Drum Captain, Student Conductor, Low Brass Samurai (the third of that title), and Drum Major. He sang with Showtime for three years and served as Vice President his senior year. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in music from Brigham Young University, where he participated in Marching Band, University Band, Pep Band, Symphonic Band, Trombone Choir, and Brass Choir. He served as trombone section leader in the Marching and Symphonic Bands. He is proud to be back at San Pasqual, and enjoys working with these talented young adults. He would like to express his appreciation to his family for their support of the Music Department.

Kristi Steinhilber, Director of Dance

Kristi Steinhilber is an alumnus of San Pasqual. She is currently in her twenty-sixth year of directing the Varsity Dance Team and in her tenth year of teaching dance classes at San Pasqual. Mrs. Steinhilber received her Bachelors degree from UC Irvine in Dance with a teaching emphasis and her Masters degree in Multi-Cultural Education. She created the Performance Dance Ensemble in 2007 to give highly skilled dance students who enjoy performing the opportunity to do numerous concerts, school events and community performances. Mrs. Steinhilber is thankful to come to work every day and is especially grateful to the citizens of Escondido who passed the bond that allowed the construction of our beautiful dance studio.Alisha Garvin - Color Guard Advisor 

Alisha Garvin attended San Pasqual High School and was on the Color Guard team all four years. She served as the team lieutenant and captain for multiple years and enjoyed performing. She has been coaching Color Guard since 2006 and loves working with such talented young adults. Alisha received her Bachelors Degree from Cal State University of San Marcos and is currently working on getting her teaching credential. Alisha is excited to continue her journey here at San Pasqual High School and to egger to grow the program.
