 | For over 50 years, the Golden Eagle Band has proudly represented San Pasqual High School and the City of Escondido. It is the goal of this program to improve performance by developing musicianship and focusing on character. By putting character first, students begin to develop good habits, integrity, responsibility, and accountability. These traits allow them to broaden their experience and capability as musicians, thus enabling their best possible performance. We believe that this model will help them in all aspects of their lives.
All students are encouraged to participate in a variety of musical activities both in and out of the SP music department. We strongly recommend private lessons and participation in multiple ensembles. If a student is interested in pursuing music beyond high school, private lessons and involvement in many musical activities are great ways to prepare for success. |
